Le renouveau du secteur en cette p\u00e9riode de crise est palpable : tous les constructeurs r\u00e9investissent massivement dans l\u2019innovation et la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 tout en mettant le client au centre de la r\u00e9flexion. Parmi tous les chantiers, la connectivit\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules est l\u2019un des plus importants et prometteurs, au point que tous les acteurs du march\u00e9 (constructeurs, \u00e9quipementiers, op\u00e9rateurs\u2026) se sont positionn\u00e9s. Par connectivit\u00e9, nous entendons un v\u00e9hicule qui est capable d\u2019interagir de mani\u00e8re unilat\u00e9rale ou bilat\u00e9rale avec toutes les personnes ou machines imaginables.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les voitures actuelles : des v\u00e9hicules truff\u00e9s de capteurs mais isol\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alors que de nombreux autres secteurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 boulevers\u00e9s par l\u2019av\u00e8nement de l\u2019ultra connectivit\u00e9, le monde automobile est pour l\u2019instant relativement \u00e9pargn\u00e9. Le march\u00e9 B2B a profit\u00e9 petit \u00e0 petit de certaines \u00e9volutions (compagnies de taxis ou flottes de transport de marchandises par exemple) mais le march\u00e9 B2C demeure presque vierge (\u00e0 l\u2019exception du GPS lors des 5 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es). Dans ce contexte, les usagers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments moteurs de cette \u00e9volution. En embarquant eux-m\u00eames des appareils communicants comme un avertisseur de radars ou un smartphone, ils permettent \u00e0 ces nouvelles technologies de s\u2019int\u00e9grer dans le v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tape suivante sera celle de la d\u00e9mocratisation de la connectivit\u00e9. Ou comment les donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es au niveau du v\u00e9hicule et celles accessibles via le r\u00e9seau vont pouvoir \u00eatre exploit\u00e9es et mises \u00e0 la disposition du conducteur et des passagers ?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Et les voitures du futur : des v\u00e9hicules intelligents et connect\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Actuellement il y a un nombre consid\u00e9rable de projets plus ou moins avanc\u00e9s ayant trait au v\u00e9hicule connect\u00e9. On sait que la voiture \u00e9volue selon 3 axes\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Connexion internet\u00a0:<\/span> Gr\u00e2ce au d\u00e9veloppement du Wifi et de la 4G, de nombreux nouveaux services seront disponibles pour le conducteur et les passagers. LTE Connected, un projet men\u00e9 par plusieurs \u00e9quipementiers (Toyota, Alcatel-Lucent, Atlantic Records, \u2026), cherche \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des solutions et des business models en lien avec la nouvelle norme mobile LTE (ou 4G)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Transmission d\u2019informations entre v\u00e9hicules\u00a0:<\/span> Ce partage de l\u2019information pourra permettre de diminuer le nombre et la gravit\u00e9 des accidents (par exemple, un automobiliste doublant un camion pourra signaler au suivant que la man\u0153uvre devient impossible \u00e0 cause d\u2019un v\u00e9hicule arrivant en face)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Interaction entre les v\u00e9hicules et les infrastructures routi\u00e8res\u00a0:<\/span> Volvo travaille par exemple en ce moment sur une connectivit\u00e9 qui transforme les v\u00e9hicules en param\u00e8tres mobiles au sein d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>O\u00f9 se placent les t\u00e9l\u00e9coms dans ce march\u00e9 potentiel\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pour les op\u00e9rateurs t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques, la voiture connect\u00e9e est un \u00e9norme march\u00e9. 30 millions de voitures sont en circulation et 2 millions de v\u00e9hicules neufs sont vendus chaque ann\u00e9e. On voit d\u00e9j\u00e0 apparaitre des projets mettant les op\u00e9rateurs comme \u00e9l\u00e9ments centraux du futur de l\u2019automobile\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u2019initiative \u201ceCall\u201d de la Commission Europ\u00e9enne va rendre prochainement obligatoire, dans chaque nouvelle voiture vendue dans l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne, un service d\u2019appel et de localisation automatique du v\u00e9hicule en cas d\u2019accident.<\/li>\n<li>Les entreprises ayant particip\u00e9 au boom technologique des smartphones accompagnent aussi les marques automobiles dans leurs d\u00e9veloppements. Par exemple, les actuels acteurs des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019exploitation de smartphones et de tablettes signent des partenariats de d\u00e9veloppement avec des constructeurs automobiles (Saab travaille conjointement avec Andro\u00efd sur un futur tableau de bord se rapprochant d\u2019une tablette par exemple).<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019utilisation de ces nouveaux canaux de communications va \u00e9galement permettre un lien direct entre les conducteurs et les marques automobiles. Toute une s\u00e9rie de services autour de la relation client et l\u2019entretien du v\u00e9hicule pourra \u00eatre imagin\u00e9. Le concessionnaire, le garagiste ou l\u2019assureur font partie d\u2019une chaine \u00e0 forte valeur ajout\u00e9e qui peut \u00eatre mieux maitris\u00e9e (une assurance qui s\u2019adapte en temps r\u00e9el \u00e0 votre conduite, \u00e0 votre localisation ou \u00e0 votre zone de stationnement par exemple, comme un \u201cpay as you drive\u201d am\u00e9lior\u00e9).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Un march\u00e9 plein de promesses mais avec ses limites<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019image des changements d\u2019\u00e9nergie et de motorisation dans l\u2019automobile actuellement, l\u2019informatique embarqu\u00e9e est un autre levier de la mutation profonde que subit le secteur automobile. Mais toutes ces \u00e9volutions doivent \u00eatre pouss\u00e9es malgr\u00e9 des contraintes fortes li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019automobile (le risque de dispersion et d\u2019accidents potentiels li\u00e9s \u00e0 ces nouveaut\u00e9s notamment). La question de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de ces nouveaux syst\u00e8mes d\u2019informations est aussi cruciale, des voitures connect\u00e9es \u00e0 internet font face \u00e0 des risques de piratage.<\/p>\n<p>Au final l\u2019automobile suit cette logique actuelle du \u201ctout connect\u00e9\u201d \u00e0 tout instant. Il y a un lien \u00e9vident entre l\u2019\u00e9volution actuelle du march\u00e9 de l\u2019automobile et celui r\u00e9cent du march\u00e9 du mobile avec l\u2019av\u00e8nement des smartphones.
