Afin d\u2019\u00e9valuer les quelques<\/em> <em>200 pays en lice, des crit\u00e8res tels que\u00a0<\/em><em>le pourcentage du PIB investi dans la<\/em> <em>R&amp;D, la productivit\u00e9 par employ\u00e9 ou<\/em> <em>encore la part d\u2019entreprises high-tech<\/em> <em>ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9s.<\/em><em> Mais qu\u2019est-ce qu&#8217;est r\u00e9ellement l\u2019innovation en entreprise aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0? Et comment bien accompagner\u00a0sa trajectoire ? Ce sera l\u2019objet de ce premier article sur lequel rebondira un second d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux bonnes pratiques en la mati\u00e8re.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 align=\"left\">L\u2019innovation en entreprise<\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\">Selon le <a title=\"Manuel d'Oslo - OCDE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oecd.org\/fr\/science\/inno\/2367554.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">manuel d\u2019Oslo de l\u2019OCDE<\/a>, l\u2019innovation est <em>\u00ab la mise en \u0153uvre \u2013 la commercialisation ou l\u2019impl\u00e9mentation \u2013 par une entreprise, et pour la premi\u00e8re fois, d\u2019un produit ou d\u2019un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 nouveau ou sensiblement am\u00e9lior\u00e9, d\u2019une nouvelle m\u00e9thode de commercialisation ou organisationnelle dans les pratiques d\u2019une entreprise, l\u2019organisation du lieu de travail ou les relations avec l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. \u00bb<\/em> De plus en plus de grandes entreprises veillent \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des d\u00e9marches d\u2019innovation en interne notamment comme une r\u00e9ponse face \u00e0 la crise. Cependant, les processus d\u2019innovation ne sauraient survivre dans un environnement classique, ils doivent se d\u00e9velopper en parall\u00e8le de celui-ci. Alors comment innover ? Comment amener son entreprise \u00e0 mettre en place des processus stimulants et durables ? Comment aller plus loin que la basique bo\u00eete \u00e0 id\u00e9es ?<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Au-del\u00e0 de ses multiples facettes, l\u2019innovation se caract\u00e9rise par un processus complet, de la stimulation de la cr\u00e9ation des id\u00e9es jusqu\u2019au lancement aupr\u00e8s du public cible. On repr\u00e9sente souvent ce dernier sous la forme d\u2019un entonnoir afin de mettre en avant le fait que pour 100 id\u00e9es propos\u00e9es, seules 2 ou 3 arriveront sous forme mature et travaill\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2 align=\"left\">Les trajectoires de l\u2019innovation<\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\">Ces 100 id\u00e9es n\u2019\u00e9mergeront pas spontan\u00e9ment. Pour les r\u00e9colter, il faut mettre en place une phase dite d\u2019<strong>id\u00e9ation<\/strong>, souvent li\u00e9e \u00e0 une phase d\u2019inspiration, pour laquelle il est n\u00e9cessaire de stimuler la naissance des id\u00e9es \u00e0 travers des <strong>ateliers de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9<\/strong> ou des challenges th\u00e9matiques. Une fois les id\u00e9es r\u00e9colt\u00e9es, il faut r\u00e9aliser une premi\u00e8re analyse afin d\u2019\u00e9carter celles qui ne r\u00e9pondent pas \u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie de l\u2019entreprise ou tout simplement qui existent d\u00e9j\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Vient alors la phase de <strong>prototypage <\/strong>qui concerne en moyenne 30% des id\u00e9es. L\u2019objectif est de r\u00e9aliser des tests de l\u2019id\u00e9e sur un march\u00e9 r\u00e9duit et repr\u00e9sentatif de la cible. \u00c0 la fin de cette phase, durant laquelle le prototype aura pu \u00e9voluer pour s\u2019adapter aux besoins du terrain, une \u00e9valuation de la pertinence et de la valeur de l\u2019innovation est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">7% des id\u00e9es r\u00e9colt\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019origine vont alors entrer en <strong>phase d\u2019impl\u00e9mentation. <\/strong>Cette phase doit accompagner l\u2019\u00e9volution de l\u2019innovation vers un produit suffisamment mature pour une mise sur le march\u00e9. Enfin, pour stimuler l\u2019innovation sur le long terme, une valorisation adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 chacune des \u00e9tapes pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes doit \u00eatre mise en place.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Afin de prendre en compte ce processus, les entreprises ont, ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, mis\u00e9 sur un syst\u00e8me d\u2019innovation dit <strong><em>inside-in<\/em><\/strong>. En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, l\u2019innovation \u00e9tait d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e uniquement par des ressources internes \u00e0 l\u2019entreprise, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes de management des id\u00e9es \u00e0 destination des collaborateurs, des incubateurs internes ou encore via la R&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Aujourd\u2019hui cependant, alors que, <a title=\"solucomINSIGHT - L\u2019entreprise ouverte, une mutation naturelle ?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.solucominsight.fr\/2014\/01\/lentreprise-ouverte-une-mutation-naturelle\/\" target=\"_blank\">les fronti\u00e8res entre une entreprise et son \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me tendent \u00e0 se d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialiser<\/a>, la tendance est \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019on appelle <strong>l\u2019<em>open innovation<\/em><\/strong>. Litt\u00e9ralement \u00ab<a title=\"Telcospinner - Corporate Venture Capital dans les t\u00e9l\u00e9coms : l\u2019Open Innovation comme voie de salut !\" href=\"http:\/\/www.telcospinner-solucom.fr\/2013\/10\/corporate-venture-capital-dans-les-telecoms-lopen-innovation-comme-voie-de-salut\/\" target=\"_blank\">innovation ouverte<\/a> \u00bb, cette d\u00e9marche se d\u00e9cline en deux trajectoires. La plus pratiqu\u00e9e est celle de l\u2019<em>outside-in<\/em> qui consiste \u00e0 aller chercher en dehors de l\u2019entreprise des connaissances ou m\u00eame des ressources. Des g\u00e9ants comme Apple ou Google ont savamment mis en place une communaut\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9parer leur \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me \u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019innovations de rupture comme l\u2019iPhone hier et les Google Glass aujourd\u2019hui. Des grands groupes fran\u00e7ais organisent quant \u00e0 eux des <a title=\"123 opendata - d\u00e9finition Hackathon\" href=\"http:\/\/123opendata.com\/blog\/open-data-hackathon-programmez\/\" target=\"_blank\">hackatons<\/a>, 48h durant lesquels tout un chacun peut venir proposer et d\u00e9velopper une application avec les donn\u00e9es qui sont mises \u00e0 disposition. Dans cette trajectoire on note aussi beaucoup de syst\u00e8mes de management des id\u00e9es ouverts au grand public. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, l\u2019<em>inside-out<\/em> permet de mettre \u00e0 disposition ressources et savoirs d\u2019une entreprise aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Le premier type de dispositif <em>inside-out<\/em> est celui de la vente de brevets sous forme de licence. Il peut \u00e9galement s\u2019agir d\u2019essaimage. Ces deux trajectoires, loin d\u2019\u00eatre divergentes, se doivent d\u2019\u00eatre compl\u00e9mentaires. Pour cela, Google par exemple, a mis en place des d\u00e9marches \u00ab d\u2019intrapreneuriat \u00bb, c\u2019est \u00e0 dire des dispositifs permettant de <a title=\"EFE - Intrapreneuriat, ou comment r\u00e9concilier l\u2019entreprise avec l\u2019innovation\" href=\"http:\/\/management.efe.fr\/2014\/01\/24\/intrapreneuriat-ou-comment-reconcilier-lentreprise-avec-linnovation\/\" target=\"_blank\">stimuler l\u2019entrepreneuriat au sein m\u00eame de l\u2019entreprise<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Au-del\u00e0 de la compr\u00e9hension et de l\u2019impl\u00e9mentation des diff\u00e9rentes phases de l\u2019innovation et des dispositifs associ\u00e9s, il existe des facteurs cl\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite d\u2019une telle entreprise.
